How Many Games Do You Need for a Toy Story Party?

You don’t need a ton of games; 5 to 7 Toy Story-themed party games work perfectly. ⭐ DIY Claw Machine

This claw machine party prop was something that I crafted out of a car seat box! I know this is more a decoration than a game, but it did make a great place to store our party favor bags. The kids loved grabbing the bags out of it once they broke the pinata too! It ended up being one of the most photographed parts of the party. Jessie’s Shoot Out Game

I have to admit…I was pretty proud of this one!

I always feel like Jessie doesn’t get the recognition she deserves, so she absolutely needed her own game at our party. I made this one using a cardboard tri-fold display board, a piece of foam board, three paper towel rolls painted black, and a few printed decorations to bring it all together.

For the game itself, I used Nerf dart guns and a carnival-style knockdown can set that I found at my local party store. I’ll link similar supplies below because this game ended up being a huge hit with both the kids and the adults. I think some of the parents got even more competitive than the kids!

Bubble Station

This is one of my favorite party activities because it keeps the kids entertained throughout the entire party instead of only lasting five minutes. They loved pouring their own bubble solution, trying all the different wands, and making giant bubbles together.

Pinata

Tips for Planning Toy Story Party Games

Every party doesn’t need a minute-by-minute schedule. In fact, I’ve found kids have the most fun when they have a mix of organized games and time to simply play together. Give them a few exciting activities, plenty of room to run, and don’t stress if everything doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Final Thoughts

Go with your gut on the games you decide to set up. There is no right way of doing things; kids will have fun as long as you give them the tools to do so. Honestly, the kids spent more time laughing together than worrying about whether the games were perfect.
